This project, based in Keighley, was to provide a mezzanine floor in a newly leased unit, as an extension to their original factory. The mezzanine supplied is for storage and production use, which, has since had a goods lift installed and now awaiting the final phase of installing all relevant fire protection, which is scheduled in the next week.
There has been a delay between the two phases due to the customer obtaining new machinery which have since been delivered and secured into their location.
The next phase is to ensure all aspects of the underside of the floor are fire rated and protected, which includes the installation of a fire curtain to accompany fire rated column casings and fascia.
