Meet the team
The 'A'- TC team, who work hard to keep things ticking over!

Andy Chambers
Managing Director / Founder of ATC Installations
Otherwise known as Boss, Andy initially set out on his own, as a self employed installer. Along the way he took on Marc, who is now the workshop Supervisor. When Andy decided to get into the fabrication side of steel, he secured a workshop with land, and after a lot of hard graft, he and Marc turned it around to becoming a fully functional workshop with the trained and certified employees we have today. Aside from work, Andy's other main hobby is his motorbikes - whether its watching, riding, or simply cleaning!

Chris Malcolm
Estimator, Designer & Draughtsman
Chris was 'draughted' into the ATC team back in 2019. He has brought with him years of experience in the mezzanine floor & steel industry and understanding of different computer aided design and drawing packages! Chris does sometimes get a break from his chair and screen, to visit sites in order to conduct surveys or initial consultation meetings with our customers. Outside of work, you can find Chris spending time with his family, riding some muddy tracks on his motorbike, or tinkering with his road motorbike.

Katie Marsh
Company Secretary
Joining ATC in 2016, Kate's initial role was to assist and support Andy with all admin aspects of the business so he could focus on designing, drawing and quoting (as well as the fabrication and installation side). As the company has grown, so have Kates tasks, responsibilities, (and job titles), however, while she is found mostly beavering away behind her screens in the office, Kate is the one you will likely speak to when contacting ATC. Outside of work, Kate is one to meet up with friends, go for the odd spa day (every one deserves a treat), get out on her motorbike or if being lazy, get on the back of her partners bike and let him chauffeur her around.

Marc Miles
Workshop Supervisor
Marc was employed (some twenty years ago) way back when Andy was sub contracting as an installer. . . Following the move over to the fabrication side of things, Marc now oversees all UkCA documentation for jobs, manages the team of fabricators in the workshop and still dabbles in fabricating himself. The transistion from installer to fabricator was a task, however, Marc has taken it all in his stride, even when we subjected him to the UkCA certification in order to meet the BSEN 1090 standards for the welding aspect of our works, so now, not only does he have responsibilty for his own work, but that of the other members of the fabrication team also. When not at work, Marc does enjoy his time away from the workshop, whether it be playing or watching Rugby, drinking one or two beers (the two do go hand in hand), spending quality time with his family and even decorating!
